Teatar Mladih Mišolovka

GENERAL INFO and CORE ACTIVITIES
The main idea in “Teatar mladih Mišolovka” work is that through theater exercises, games, and tasks, participants work on their own abilities and skills needed for real life. Encouraging creativity and learning through drama/theater play enables work that does not exclude fun, on the contrary. In addition to the main goal in this theater, which is the development of personality, there are secondary goals. One of them, equally important, as it corresponds to the whole society in which the individual, or workshop participant, lives, is the development and nurturing of an educated theater audience. And not only theater audiences, but consumers of other cultural and artistic content as well. In addition to the basic work and participation in workshops, participants engage in discussions and activities related to literature, performances, music, film, exchange experiences, and use them to create their own responses to acting and non-acting tasks. In other words, they implement all acquired knowledge into their own creations by engaging in art, thus creating unique worlds.

MY PREFERRED ARTISTIC RESEARCH WOULD BE…
Firstly, we would like to find out more about the world of theater and drama. We would love to dive in in every single pore of acting, from the beginning of making a play, through all the nooks and crannies that come with sculpting a character, to learning about the finishing touches of music production and light usage. Of course, it would mean a great deal to learn about other sides of art. Anything involving music and opera is very fascinating and we would be glad to find out more about its process.

I’M LOOKING FOR…
We would need to work with our colleagues depending on the field we’ll be diving into. Every innovation comes from the heart and soul, but that does not mean that we can allow ourselves to not use our minds and the knowledge we already possess. Also, we would like a space that comes with no distraction, whether it is outdoor or indoor.

FOR MY ORGANIZATION, WORKING INTERNATIONALLY MEANS…
Mixing new knowledge with existing expertise, to deepen our research and adding new skills to our portfolio.
