MY SPACE CAN OFFER…
A research-oriented, supportive and connection-enanching residency.
Among the numerous venues where AMAT (Associazione Marchigiana Attività Teatrali) operates, some are dedicated to artistic residencies. Among these, the Chiesa dell’Annunziata has an intimate soul, particularly suited for music, dance, and theater residencies. This space allows artists to fully immerse themselves in the creative process, offering a cozy and evocative environment that fosters concentration and inspiration. The Chiesa dell’Annunziata, with its unique atmosphere, is perfectly suited to host moments of experimentation and artistic development, contributing to the cultural and artistic growth of the community.
MY SPACE FITS BEST…
The Chiesa dell’Annunziata offers a unique opportunity for researchers and artists looking for a serene and intimate environment to focus on their creative process without the pressure of a final event or extensive technical requirements. The former church’s fixed characteristics provide a stable setting, making it ideal for those who seek to communicate and give back to the community hosting them, for example:
- Researchers and Artists Seeking Low-Stress Environment;
- Minimal Technical Requirements:
_Artists whose work does not require extensive technical setups or modifications to the existing space;
_Creative practitioners who can adapt their work to the fixed characteristics of the church, appreciating its historical and architectural features; - Community Engagement Enthusiasts:
_Individuals passionate about community engagement and eager to share their process and insights with the local community;
_Artists and researchers who want to contribute to the cultural and artistic growth of the community through workshops, open studios, or informal presentations.
FOR MY ORGANIZATION, WORKING INTERNATIONALLY MEANS…
Sharing best practices for artistic and organizational mentorship, and enhancing the connection between resident artists and the host city.
